The Studio at Dark Run Retreat

Quiet studio on a secluded 5 acres only 3 miles from town. Kick back and relax by the pool in the warmer months, or in the hot tub in the cooler months. Small trails lead to the creek running along the property, maybe you'll even catch a glimpse of the deer or turkey that wander thru...we've even seen a lil bear once! There is an apartment above the studio, so we ask that you be mindful of those guests if occupied. *The studio got a make-over! As of 10/6/20, we will no longer be hosting pets*

It is within a 40 minute drive of Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, local wineries, national historic sites, and much more.

Upon request, access to telescope for viewing of stars and galaxies! This property has a separate bedroom, a sofa that opens to a bed in living room area, and a roll away bed.

This newly renovated one bedroom apartment is in the heart of the historic district of Gordonsville. No box stores here, just quaint shops and restaurants. The apartment is right on Main Street nestled in the middle of boutique shops and brick sidewalks with Monticello, Montpelier, the University of Virginia, Shenandoah National Park, local vineyards and many historic sites near by. This is a private second story apartment above a local business with a separate entrance and key-less entry.

Bits and Pieces

Our apartment takes you to a place of peace and tranquility. You will find beautiful sunsets and picturesque mornings. In the background you may hear the wildlife which makes it all the more of an experience. There are many places to walk around the farm and get exercise or just quiet your mind. The apartment is located in one barn on the farm from which you can watch the calves romping in the field in spring. The apartment is warm and inviting as I hope you can tell from the pictures.

Situated on 5 acres of historical grounds with towering trees, directly above the old bakery building on the grounds of Greenock Manor Wedding Venue. This spacious loft apartment has an open plan living area, is comfortable with a tub and shower, restored hardwood floors, newly installed high speed WiFi and super comfy beds! Back in 1870 this building used to be the old Carriage House storing the grand chariots for the main Manor house Pets are welcome with permission. A pet fee applies

Manor House Efficiency Suite

Watch the sun set behind Merry Mountain from the porch swing on your upstairs screened porch. This second floor efficiency has its own entrance, and we offer it only when we have no booking for the entire house. It is ideal for the single traveler or for a couple (see romantic features mentioned below). The upstairs porch also lets you watch many farm activities from your elevated vantage point. It’s a wonderful place for breakfast. Full kitchen & oversized bath with whirlpool tub.
