Huset är byggt för att få er att känna att ni är mitt i naturen fast inomhus. Ta gärna skogsvandringar i närområdet. Till huset tar ni er med fördel med motorbåten med en 4 hp roddbåt, som ingår, då det är ca 500m skogspromenad genom skogen från parkeringen. På vintern går ni genom skogen om båten inte ligger i vattnet.

Kommunal badplats och multiarena ,avstånd 600 meter. Närmaste tätort är Valdemarsvik, 1,5 mil. Här finns ett sovrum med 180 säng och litet Tv-rum med bäddsoffa för två. Köket är utrustat med kyl/frys och spis med ugn. Toalett inomhus och utedusch med varmvatten.
