Our cozy chalet sits in the woods on our 9‑acre property, overlooking a small pond and offering a peaceful escape from busy city life. As you drive past our home to the chalet, you arrive at a tucked‑away spot where the cottage and hot tub pavilion are screened by trees and bamboo, creating a private, secluded feel. Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Modern meets rustic in our brand-new, three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin with all the comforts of home. This two-story cabin was a family project from the ground up, completed in 2025. We enjoyed designing this guest house and hope you find it a rejuvenating space. The cabin is great for a refreshing weekend getaway, a home base for a work crew or home-away-from home while visiting friends in the area. Private location away from the road but less than ten minute drive to Tylertown.

Enjoy your favorite beverage on the back deck overlooking a large open yard, nectar feeding humming birds, and beautiful forestry. For an extra fee, store your boat, or ATV inside the 20x30 metal building located on the property.
