The apartment is located on our working farm with views of Lough Corrib and Shannaghree Lakes, as well as breathtaking views of Connemara Mountains. It provides the best of both worlds, secluded in nature but 5 mins drive to village, pubs, restaurants, bakery and grocery stores. There are plenty local amenities scenic walks, hikes, fishing, golfing and an adventure centre in Moycullen. Perfect getaway to discover Connemara.

Situated in a quiet cul de sac this semi detached cottage is just a 6 minute walk from Oughterard village. The cottage has 2 double bedrooms, one en suite, and 1 single bedroom. (Sleeps 5).There is an open plan kitchen/living room and a separate sitting room. Perfect location for touring Connemara and the West along The Wild Atlantic Way. Galway city is a 20 minute drive away. (The property is not suitable for small children or infants)

Glamping and Alpaca Farm: Connemara Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Curraghduff Farm offers unique alpaca experiences and now welcomes you to stay. This self catering glamping site is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. We have 3 individually themed huts on site but they are spaced out enough to ensure privacy. The glamping site is based on a small farm with alpacas, chickens, pygmy goats and sheep.

Tappy's Cottage

This quaint, quiet, 19th century cottage, rests in a timeless, peaceful setting, in the townland of Canrawer, a single kilometre from the town of Oughterard and 25 kilometers from Galway city centre. Oughterard is Galway's gateway to Connemara. Tappy's cottage is stop number 13 on the Oughterard Heritage Walk, a 2.8km walk which commences at the Owenriff Waterfall.
