The facilities include Wi-Fi, secure parking, barbeque and entertainment facilities and use of the spacious tropical garden. Good load shedding back up is in place.

You will be warmly welcomed to this fully-furnished, self-contained unit with its three rooms , separate entrance and private living area. Parktown Quarter shopping centre is an easy walk around the corner where you can grab a cappuccino, shop at the Woolworths Food, or have a vibey dinner at one of several top-rated restaurants. The cottage is close to the Rosebank Mall and Rosebank Gautrain station. ( 1.5 -2 KM)

Our delightful garden cottage is in the leafy suburb of Melville, within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs and shops, but just far away that you will enjoy a wonderful sense of peace and quiet. The cottage features a large bedroom with a double bed, table, TV (Netflix) and couch, a kitchenette and a bathroom with bath and shower. We offer secure off-street parking for one small car. The bedroom opens onto a patio next to the pool. The cottage has a heater and electric blanket.

Solar powered lovely executive loft, fully furnished including wifi, Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, stove, microwave and all kitchen utensils. Solar powered during the day and battery backup anywhere between 2-8 hours depending on usage when there is no solar charging (no sun) and no council power. Situated in a central location and close to all amenities. Suitable for three people. Free and safe parking included. Suitable for long term stay as well.

Private, safe, clean, modern outside room with small kitchenette and bathroom with shower based in the leafy superb of Craighall Park. There is a lovely private outdoor space with a table and chairs for relaxing. We have solar backup so generally have no load shedding issues. There is parking for one car. We are close to restaurants, shops, movies, Delta Park and the Rosebank Gautrain. A perfect home away from home for work or a weekend getaway!

Lilac Cottage in Melville

Our cottage, with backup Solar and Water Tanks to ensure our guests stay comfortable, is tucked away under a big sweet gum tree. Guarded by our two friendly Chow Chow dogs the cottage looks out on our pool and has its own outside patio and braai area. Inside the cottage is a cozy studio apartment with a kitchenette, study nook with WiFi, a cupboard and a comfortable double bed. The separate modern bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and soap.

Perfect contained room

We have recently installed solar panels and battery-backup to cope with the loadshedding as well as a large water storage tank for water outages Snug cozy contained room has a double bed, kitchenette with two gas plates and bathroom with a shower. It's not the biggest space (23,5 square metres) but has almost everything you need for a stay in one of Johannesburg's beautiful old tree-lined suburbs. The area is safe and close to the train.
