Welcome to our boat-access getaway on Bonnie Island in Sturgeon Bay, Pointe Au Baril. The 16-acre island hosts three cottages (separately owned), surrounded by crown land. The privacy of island living creates an amazing environment for family fun; less than a 5 minute boat ride from Sturgeon Bay Marina. The open-concept cottage has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, office space, and living room with a cozy wood-burning fireplace for the cooler nights. Enjoy the beauty of PAB.

Muskoka Island Gettaway

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION to rent this cottage. Bring your own boat or rent from a local marina. Taking a water taxi is also an option. Please see our guidebook for some local marinas with these services. The main cottage has modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms, large updated 4 pc bath and open concept living/dining rms overlooking the lake. The guest house has 2 queen beds, living area and it’s own bath. The lot gently slopes to the water with shallow sand entry great for kids.

This charming and cozy space has all the amenities you need for an amazing experience, including a fully equipped kitchen. On the island is a unique lighthouse lookout , a private dock and clear water for swimming. In the evenings, relax on the spacious deck or gather at the fire pit to roast marshmallows, and stargaze with family and friends.

Booking Spring/Summer 2026+++ Boat access only! Boat provided with rental. +++ Spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath custom built log waterfront cottage! This property provides island privacy! In true Muskoka fashion experience a 2 min boat ride (boat provided) from the designated mainland parking lot to the large private dock located in front of the cottage. If need be we will happily meet you upon arrival. Bring your own boat and launch for free to access cottage and lake amenities.
