Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

Private holiday home in medieval village in the Lucca hills, Tuscany. With a private pool and spectacular views through the valley. The house is completely private, nothing to share with anyone else, it's all yours. Pisa, Lucca Florence and Siena are within driving distance, as well as the sea and Cinque Terre. The house is in the Apuan Alps for great hiking, a perfect combination between nature and culture. The house has 1 bathroom and stairs are on the outside of the house, see the pictures.

Only 11km from the historic walled town of Lucca lies our spacious home with spectacular views over the Tuscan hills. Ideal for cyclists and walkers, guests can also easily explore Pisa, Viareggio/the Ligurian coast, Florence & Sienna. Our local village, Ponte a Moriano, only 4km away, provides great eateries including one of the best gelaterias in the area as well as a weekly market. This is a great home away from home for relaxing whilst discovering the delights that Tuscany has to offer.

Le Muricciole: the landscape of the gentle hills

Le Muricciole, is a beautiful apartment recently restored in an old farmer's house on the sunny hills covered with olive orchards. Table,umbrella,armchairs allow to eat outside. It is at about 5 km from Lucca,medieval town, birth place of the opera composer Puccini. You can hike or bike ride on the river park, go to the seaside,only 20km away. You will like this place for the following reasons: light, intimacy, and peace. It is perfect for families, couples, groups, and people who work.

Vorrei specificare che una delle camere da letto è una stanza di passaggio con un divano che può diventare letto alla francese, da questa camera si accede ad una camera da letto matrimoniale.

A true italien tuscan stonehouse with spectacular view over tuscany. Its located in a small village but a short drive to beautiful Lucca, an ancient historic town (15km) and 23 km from the beach in Viareggio. The house has a swimming pool and its located with daytrips to Pisa, UNESCOS Cinque terre, Lerichi, Firenze and between wineyards.
