Adorable cabin in the countryside

Bluebird Cottage is a quaint little haven 8km from Westport town. Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. So we are very centrally located in the West. Peace and Tranquillity Ahoy!

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Unique Hot-tub Chalet with Balcony Views

ÈALÚ direct Irish translation for ESCAPE is the name of this unique place. This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

Riverbank Self-Catering

Nestled on the Banks of the Cloon River, Partry, this bespoke 70m2 apartment is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Showing off its beautiful views of the woods from its own private enclosed decking area. It boasts its own off-street parking and private entrance to allow guests to come and go at their leisure. Run by a friendly Franco Irish couple with extensive local knowledge of the Mayo area and surroundings. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Ideal for families. "Home away from home"

The Annexe surroundings are beautiful views of Croagh Patrick, rugged hills and Clew Bay on the wild Atlantic Ocean. Ideal location for a mountain climb, exploring Clew Bay north and south. Westport town is only 10 minutes away for shopping ,pubs and entertainment. We are within walking distance from 2 village pubs, The Tavern and Campbell's (check them out online ) Comprehensive Continental breakfast is included and there is a kettle, crockery, fridge and coffee/tea.

If you’re looking for rejuvenation and inspiration, this understated, yet luxurious 3 bedroom holiday home promises an unforgettable escape. There are hiking and cycling trails, wild trout fishing and water sports on the doorstep. It’s also only a ten minute walk to a friendly pub/restaurant. Please note we only accept SATURDAY to SATURDAY bookings in July and August.

Rushbrook Chalet

This is a small yet bright and airy studio chalet with a large veranda that serves as an extension of the living area allowing for alfresco dining, relaxing down-time overlooking a natural, calming vista or an opportunity for some early morning yoga stretches for those so incline.The setting is tranquil and secluded, approx 7km from Westport town and 2 km from a local shop. Food is supplied for a light continental style breakfast.

CastleHacket House, steeped in Irish History. Built in 1703 by John Kirwan Mayor of Galway, the house is surrounded by nature and is very quiet and peaceful. Join in one of our "quiet "Yoga Classes, hike Connemara, stroll Knockma Woods, explore the lakes - world Famous for brown Trout fishing, or simply relax in the beautiful Park and Gardens. We are environmentally friendly and support green living, health and wellbeing.

Glamping and Alpaca Farm: Connemara Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Curraghduff Farm offers unique alpaca experiences and now welcomes you to stay. This self catering glamping site is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. We have 3 individually themed huts on site but they are spaced out enough to ensure privacy. The glamping site is based on a small farm with alpacas, chickens, pygmy goats and sheep.
