Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

A-Frame Mountain Views/Hot Tub/Firepit

Gaze out at the Blue Ridge Mountains from an A-Frame and give back at the same time. Every 10 nights of rentals will provide 1 free night for a family who has adopted or is fostering. 3 bedrooms and a loft with a sofa sleeper allows for 8 guests (10 w/air mattress). 1 dog allowed. Watch the sunset from the hot tub or chairs around the fire pit. Wake up and sip coffee from your private deck at each bedroom. BR Parkway, Floyd VA, Fairystone State Park and Philpott Lake are all 20 mins away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Built in 1984, over 300 blueberry bushes add to the beautiful view of Bull Mountain. KING bed. Window unit AC for the warm summer months. Gas log fireplace for the winter. The Porch at Fairystone

The Porch at Fairystone is your home away from home. This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom vacation home boasts a large open concept with the living area, kitchen and dining area all in one large room. Through a beautiful barn door you’ll find your bedroom and in-unit laundry closet with washer and dryer. Enjoy a beautiful outdoor dining space with chairs for 3 and a grill to cook your favorite meals. Just minutes away from Fairystone State Park, Goose Point, and Philpott Marina, Dam and Lake.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

Miss Lillian's House

This ancestral farm house with its heart of pine flooring is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Virginia Piedmont on a beautiful 600-acre VA Century Farm which has been in the same family since just after the Civil War. Now owned and operated by three sisters, one a CPA, one a retired public school principal, and one a pastor of a local Methodist Church. The farm hosts Angus cattle, deer, turkeys, small creeks, a fish pond and is ideal for hiking, or just peace of mind.

Creekside w/ Wraparound Covered Deck, Fire Pit

Escape to this peaceful creekside cabin and settle into the slower rhythm of the mountains. Tucked beside a gently flowing creek, this cozy retreat is designed for mornings with coffee on the deck, afternoons spent unwinding outdoors, and evenings gathered around the fire beneath the stars. Unplug and reconnect in this private country home with oak, cedar and pine throughout. Enjoy a full modern kitchen, with open concept to living room. Main floor has two bedrooms and 1 bath with large shower. Downstairs is a pool table room, 3rd bedroom and full bath. Relax on wrap around porch with rockers and swing. Enjoy the fire pit, wood provided. Hang up the hammock and relax. 10 min. drive to Hanging Rock State Park and 20 mins. to Pilot Mtn. State Park.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023).
