Johns Island - on the water @ Bass Harbor Cottages

Johns Island is on the first floor of our historic three room Inn and has a wrap-around farmer's porch with a side-view across Bass Harbor. This room is street side and faces a meadow which is filled with lupines in the spring. Take the staircase to the shore, watch the tide change and look for your favorite shore bird - guillemots, loons and eagles are frequent visitors. These brand-new king apartments feature a full kitchen, open living area with an electric fireplace, massage chair, (2) 55-inch Smart TVs, king bed and a pull-out sofa. The balcony offers partial views of Frenchman Bay and the Porcupine Islands. Our Hot Tub Suite with Two Queens is located on the top floor of the Fireside Inn and Suites in beautiful Belfast, Maine. The room features a kitchenette, living room, fireplace, massage chair, two tvs, and a private deck with a wonderful view of Penobscot Bay. You will have access to all hotel amenities, including a large sloping lawn with lawn games, rocky beach access, complimentary bike rentals (seasonal), lobby gift shop, fitness center, an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna.

This room is part of the Merrybell Motel, a classic roadside motel on Rt 1. There is one queen bed in the room which comfortably sleeps two people. Attached to the room is a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Amenities include a fridge, microwave, air-conditioning, heater, flat screen tv with DirecTV and high speed fibre internet. You can park your car right in front of your room. We take care of all the cleaning and laundry ourselves.
