Otter Creek Retreat hosted by Elaine & Richard

Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

LOFTY-DIGS

Lofty-Digs is a newly constructed studio apartment in the upstairs of our barn. We are delighted to tell you that we are solar powered!!! The apartment offers a private entrance, small balcony overlooking our garden, free off street parking, a full bath, plenty of closet space all in a peaceful inviting, quiet, and roomy studio. Walking distance to all that Bangor has to offer including Waterfront Pavilion, Stephen King's house, wonderful pubs and restaurants.

The Farm By The Sea Private Apartment

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.

Tranquil haven just outside of town

Cozy, clean efficiency studio with private entrance. This is a small space of approx 120 square feet plus a full bath. Queen-size Spring Air Chattam Wells Pillow Top Mattress. Lots of pillows. 2 Stove top burners, microwave, refrigerator. I provide lotion, shampoo, conditioner and soap. 3.4 miles to downtown Ellsworth, 23 miles to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. 15 miles to Bucksport, 12 miles to Blue Hill and 30 miles to Bangor. 27 miles to Historic Castine.

Acadia Gateway Getaway

*** The Bangor International Airport's runways are being rebuilt and the airport will be closed to arrivals and departures these dates: 8AM June 2 to 3PM June 4 8AM June 9 to 3PM June 11 8AM June 16 to 3PM June 18 7PM September 9 to 11AM September 10 If we learn of any other changes we will update you accordingly. The Bar Harbor Airport is even closer than Bangor and flying into Portland or Boston and renting a car to explore more would be fun!

The light filled apartment is located above the garage of a restored antique farmhouse and has beautiful water views from the living room and private deck. The perfect spot for a relaxing vacation on the coast of Maine.

Rabbitrock Retreat

Coastal village. Rabbitrock Retreat is located towards the end of a dirt road among wildflower meadows and apple trees, quiet except for the sound of birds and distant church bells. It is named after a local landmark Rabbit Rock that exists in the woods near our house, known only by select locals who used to say you could “always catch a rabbit at Rabbit Rock”. It is a place of abundance for sure, and we are happy to get to share it.
