The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Newly renovated home in the midst of the Swanson Cattle Company farm & ranch. With fresh paint and brand new furnishings you will find this farm/ranch home a classy way to spend time in the country and away from the city. Open area kitchen, dining, and living room allows guests to communicate with ease. Look out the window and you will see livestock, pheasants, wild turkey, and many other things a farm and ranch has to offer. Sit on the private deck and watch the beautiful Nebraska sunsets.

Come enjoy the prairie air! Farmhouse with 4 bed, 2 bath can sleep 7, on 10 acres of farmland. It is spacious and ready for a fun family weekend, a hunting party, a long birding week, or for those in the area for work. The house is 20 minutes from 4 hospitals, 20 minutes from museums in Kearney, Minden, or Holdrege, and accessible to the Rowe Sanctuary and Fr. Kearny for Sandhill Crane watching. Our second story suite is clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers & families. Your reservation will provide you with all 3 bedrooms, private bathroom & a commons area. Original 130 plus year old wooden floors have been restored, bedroom floors are carpeted. Separate semi-private entrance. Separate A/C and Heat. Off street parking. We reside on the main floor. Close to the historical downtown. Unique pergola outdoor living space to relax.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful quiet country home. The basement apartment features a walk out private entry and dedicated parking. Enjoy the walking trails on a 10 acre property including the signature cottonwood rustling slope trail or the sled hill in the backyard. Custom art greets you and flows throughout the apartment. Full kitchen is ready for cooking. Includes W/D. Enjoy the games, books, backyard play center and private patio. Additional beds possible upon request.

The Cottage

Relax in this newly updated cottage located in a quiet neighborhood, 1 block from Good Samaritan Hospital and 5 blocks from Downtown on The Bricks. The open floor plan is light and airy with farmhouse touches to make your stay comfortable. The secluded back yard is perfect for lounging or grilling on the patio. With on-demand heated water, take a long relaxing shower in the completely remodeled bathroom. If you are interested in having your pet accompany you, please request approval.

Seas the Day

One of a kind "beach vacation" in central Nebraska! A Caribbean ambience has been quasi recreated in this 1,600 sq. foot space NW of Kearney. The property sits amidst the Nebraska prairie with incredible views of the sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. It's only 10 minutes and all paved roads to Kearney's north shopping district, to the University, and both hospitals. Guests rave about the view, amenities, and peacefulness while being so close to town. Many return and book directly.

Cozy Basement Space

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close to Downtown Kearney and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. This lovely place has its own outdoor entrance, cozy kitchen, bathroom with shower, private sleeping area and living area with fireplace. We do have a washing machine and dryer that we can share with you if needed. We also have a very nice backyard to relax if you would like to share that with us. Finally, somewhere to stay in Bertrand Nebraska - Unique property. It is a shop house (or Barndominium). loft-style living room over 2 bedrooms, one bath. Living room seats 12, dining table sits 8+2 at the island. The rest of the building is the owners own space, but can be utilized if there is a need. Options for washer & dryer + second bathroom are available. Great for family gatherings or visits, executive overnights, hunting or whatever brings you to town.

Cozy Cabin on the River

This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.
