Our cottage has cathedral ceilings and is finished in beautiful pine. The cottage is winterized and electrically heated, has AC and a ceiling fan in each room. The cottage has a covered sunroom with BBQ where you can enjoy spectacular views of scenic Northumberland Strait, which boasts the warmest waters in Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

Come explore the 25 acre wooded property in Riverton with hundreds of feet of river front. The river offers wonderful swimming and fishing opportunities with three great salmon holes within a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is a work of art and has all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. It is a 5 minute hike to access the cabin.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners.
