Our lake access is close enough to bike/walk, but we prefer to drive into the access w/all of our gear! @ the gated access you will find a swimming area, boat launch, grills, screened in & open pavilion, and a playground. Relax in the hot tub over looking the woods and perhaps you'll get a glimpse of a deer or two. The cabin is close to Pine Mountain and Warm Springs. A short drive to Callaway Gardens & Roosevelt Park. Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . An hour South of Atlanta, the cabin is not primitive, it has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.

The Cabin

Relax with the family in this peaceful cabin. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin has a queen bed in each bedroom and a couch that converts into a bed. Enjoy the charm of Pine Mountain while being just a block away from boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and the Man O'War Trail. The 13.5 mile trail spans from PIne Mountain to Hamilton with many sights along the way. FDR State Park, Calloway Gardens, and the Wild Animal Safari are just minutes away.

Located in beautiful Thomaston, Georgia , Stillmeadows is home to two privately owned, authentic, 1885 cabins. 14 acres of peaceful surroundings with a stocked pond so bring your fishing gear. Farm animals complete the experience. The property is located only 75 minutes from the Atlanta Airport. It is close to Sprewell Bluff, which offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and kayaking on Flint River.
