The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

There is a full kitchen, a living room with a smart TV, strong WiFi, updated bathroom, 3 sets of bunkbeds and a queen-sized bed. Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

Stay in Heart of Central City (3 Min Walk- Winery)

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

Country Getaway - 13 Acres - Pet Friendly

Stay in a cabin on a homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about 10-minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome, and folks should know there are three barn cats on the property.

Cute Country Cottage near Lincoln, NE

This cottage is about 5 miles south of Lincoln, NE. It has a single bed with a pull out trundle bed underneath on the main floor with 2 lofts that each have a single bed. You go up a ladder to reach the lofts. Kitchen has stove, refrigerator and sink. Bathroom has shower and toilet. Country setting.
