In zona pianeggiante, di campagna, che ben si presta per piacevoli passeggiate e pochi minuti dal centro commerciale naturale di Fornaci di Barga, dove troverete supermercati, panificio, banca, ogni genere di negozio, deliziosi ristoranti e stazione. Il paese è raggiungibile anche a piedi, attraverso un sentiero nel bosco dell' azienda.

The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. Please note there is a 1€ tourist tax per person for the first 3 nights to be paid cash upon arrival.

The Arches - a beautifully renovated apartment

'The Arches' is a beautiful, traditional Garfagnana home. The building is around 500 years old, and is thought to be at the very heart of the original Cardoso, with the village growing around this centre over the next few centuries. Recently restored, the house has many original features, including wooden beams, terracotta tiles and its two distinctive arches. Quality features complement this history in the form of two modern bathrooms, central heating and a contemporary kitchen.
