The Cabin in the Woods is located at Pelsor (Sand Gap), Arkansas. With a view of the mountains from the front porch. There are water falls everywhere and you can hear some of them when sitting outside. There is a beautiful view from of the mountains from the front porch. Also enjoy a firepit area with a charcoal BBQ grill. With hundreds of miles of hiking trails, back roads, creeks and forest, The Cabin in the Woods is the outdoor enthusiast's place to be. Horse trails through out the area.

Float, fish, and explore the Big Piney Creek, Piney Bay Recreational Area, the Arkansas River, Lake Ludwig and Huckleberry Creek, or Lake Dardanelle State Park. Or stay in and enjoy the cabin's mountain view exploring 100 acres of wooded forest that is bordered on the South by Big Piney Creek. 12 miles from Moore Outdoors, gravel roads for biking (caution: you have to come up hill to get back home).

Private Cabin in the Woods

Cabin is private in the country but located 6 miles from the town of Dardanelle, 42 miles to Mount Magazine State Park, 5 miles from Nebo State Park and 28 miles to Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas River and Lake Dardanelle. Closest boat dock is about 3 miles. Mount Nebo has hiking and Mountain Bike Trails, Magazine and Petit Jean Mountains has miles of hiking trails. Our cabin is private but not remote! Our outdoor patio area allows you to grill or use fire pit in complete privacy.
