The Blue Lady... A Little Cottage By The Sea

The Blue Lady is the ideal coastal getaway location. Situated in the picturesque town of Peterborough where you can spend time at the many different beaches, play 9 holes of golf by the ocean, fish or hike the scenic coastal walking paths. Our little cottage is a great place to start or end your travels down the Great Ocean Road or begin that trip back to Melbourne. Please note we are NOT the Ritz-Carlton, so please don’t expect that. We are a little old cottage that prides itself on being clean

Great Ocean Walk Cottage

A cosy country cottage with the Great Ocean Walk on the door step & secluded beaches -Melanesia, Johanna, Castle Cove & Wreck Beach nearby. 12 Apostles, Otway Fly, Californian Redwoods and many waterfalls a half hour drive. Beautiful Otway scenery where you drift off to sleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to gorgeous ocean views, kookaburras & kangaroos. Kick back and relax or adventure out and take in all the natural delights and treats the Great Ocean Road and Otways have to offer.

River Minka

Located 10 km from Warrnambool and the Great Ocean Road. Cottage is on a rural farm property in Wangoom. Beautiful setting, rolling grassy hills, sheep and cows, also bird attracting native trees, occasionally visited by wallabies and koalas. Cottage is a 5 minute walk to the Hopkins river, good for swimming in hot weather. Also a 5 minute drive to the Hopkins Falls. House is designed with sustainability in mind, thermal mass concrete floor, north facing aspect, well insulated, wood heating.

Surrounded by lush native plants that attract local birdlife, our cozy retreat offers a tranquil haven. Guests can explore the 40 acre conservation property walking along well-established tracks which winds through the property viewing the magnificent manna gums and stringybarks of the Otway foothills. This 144sq. metre, 2 bedroom, architect designed container house, has a spacious deck providing views to garden, birds, wildlife and rolling plains. This cosy house is on a quiet no-through road, which ends at the cliff top overlooking the Southern Ocean. The back beach offers spectacular views of the Bay of Islands Coastal Park. Iconic beaches are 10mins drive away.

77 on Main started its life in 1918 selling toys, silverware and china. 100 years later it serves as a unique opportunity to stay in the sleepy town of Beeac. Situated in the main street you are a short stroll from the wonderful food and hospitality of the Farmers Arms Hotel and the Ice-cream and Lolly shop. Venture out or simply cosy up inside with a good book, local wine and enjoy the unique space.
