Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. Bring or rent a kayak or paddleboard: explore Hood head, Squamish harbor, or Gamble bay. Close to the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. Summer days we often have deer in the yard, and eagles soaring above, watching the shoreline for fish. Our yard has fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and views of the mountains and water There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. It's a spacious ground floor retreat. This cozy log cabin is nestled on 6 private acres with beautiful natural surroundings. It is an ideal location for a honeymoon, romantic get away or a quiet retreat. Across from the driveway entrance you will find 600 hundred acres of trails called the Putney Woods, a popular area that has been designated for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The cabin itself has a large wrap around deck, as well as an outside fire pit area for use when no burn ban is in effect.

Enjoy a very quiet stay in this large bedroom, great-room with pool table, kitchenette. Take short trips from here to Olympic National Park, Port Townsend, Port Gamble, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island and many other interesting attractions. Relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy the beautiful views of Port Ludlow Bay. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, each with a bathroom. For a small additional fee the 2 upstair bedrooms, each with a bathroom, can be included. The entire condo sleeps 10 with 4 bathrooms.
