Delightful self contained cottage

The cottage is self contained and is a well designed space that accommodates a queen sized bed, bathroom and a separate study and is set in an enchanting cottage garden. The well equipped kitchen is in a separate space though part of the cottage and is accessed by its own door from the decking, so you don't have far to go. In the morning lorikeets and other wild birds come to feed and you will be awoken to the romantic sound of birdsong. During spring and summer the garden is at its loveliest.

My place is all about vibe and feeling. This is a home, what air Bnb is supposed to be. Not an investor trying to make a quick $. It’s why I fell in love with the place, and why my guests do too! A stones throw to the local buzzing Balaclava neighbourhood, where you can enjoy some classic Melbourne cafes and shops. The train station is a 3 minute walk away, and will get you to the CBD in 12 minutes. The iconic Chapel Street is also only a few blocks away, or St Kilda Beach is 5 minutes by car.

Centrally located with the marina, beach, restaurants, mini golf and walking tracks at your doorstep. 7 mins drive to Werribee Zoo and Mansion, approximately 30 minutes to CBD, Geelong and Melbourne airport. Cosy bungalow with ensuite, beachy decor, extremely comfortable queen sized bed Cont. breakfast provided. Private, roomy, detached from house, ideal for a couple. Infants over 6 mths [ mobile - i.e. crawling and above ] are discouraged for safety reasons We are a well travelled couple who enjoy interacting with people. The house is 90 secs drive/5 mins walk to one of Victoria's best swimming and fishing beaches, 10 min walk to ferry, 4 mins drive to 5 top wineries and the golf club.

"The Lake House"...a place of relaxation

The Lake House" is on Blue Waters Lake. The unit is on the bottom level of the house with fabulous views and direct access to the lake and walking track. Infants and children are not offered accommodation due to the proximity to the lake. It consists of a modern, spacious living room with kitchenette, bedroom and ensuite. There is a beautiful garden with an outlook over the lake and an alfresco with a BBQ for guests to use. Kerrie lives upstairs. Sorry, no early check ins.☺️

The Cottage is ideally located a short walk to Sorrento Village - restaurants, cafes, and great shopping. An easy walk to ocean and bay beaches. A great base to explore golf courses, hot springs, wineries. There are many coastal walks to enjoy. The cottage provides a lovely space in which to relax. Long weekends are a minimum 3 night booking. * We would prefer guests to be fully COVID vaccinated. My husband and I are fully vaccinated.
