Our Hacienda sits on 40 Acres of land that was once one of the areas original Coffee plantations. Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Our peaceful and quiet “open concept” home is located in the southern Pacific mountains, 3,000 ft. up from pristine beaches to the west with the majestic Talamanca mountains to the east. Temperatures are ideal: daytime max in the 80’s, nighttime lows in the 60’s year round. A stunning view of the Pacific, including the amazing Osa peninsula is only a 10 minute walk up our road. The Rio Águila where you can refresh in large swimming holes and massaging waterfalls is approximately 2 km away.

Absolutely private room and pool with ocean views

Terra Foc is a completely private one room space. The hotel has a private pool exclusively for the guests of this room. Next to the pool there is a "ranch" with kitchen and terrace also private. The views of ocean and mountain and the isla del caño, are spectacular from everywhere in the property. Most of our guests have called our place paradise, and it has been featured in a novel as such... There are five unique beaches from 5 to 25 minutes away, and we are 400m away from the waterfall.
