DD2 Charming Getaway: Karoo Cottage & Garden

Escape to our stylish cottage in the heart of Prince Albert, Groot Karoo. This charming getaway boasts a spacious room with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom (and floor-bed for a small child and cot for a smaller child). Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and unwind in your private garden oasis on a comfortable stoep. Located in a tranquil setting, it's perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking relaxation or couples with small kids. Larger groups? Consider booking both cottages!

Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

Dream On is a bright, spacious, stylishly decorated cottage with breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and farmlands of Prince Albert. Enjoy splendid sunrises and sunsets from the veranda, relaxing at the beautiful pool and braai, and warming yourself at the indoor fireplace in winter. Dream On is a stroll away from town. It is a perfect base for cycling, hiking and exploring Prince Albert and the surrounding countryside. Welcome, and relax in this picturesque, elegant private haven.

The Mulberry House, Buffelskloof Getaway

Experience tranquility at The Mulberry House, a 3-bedroom getaway haven. The Olive Thrush Cottage is on a small-holding at the edge of town and offering views of a freshwater dam with lots of bird life. The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. Prince Albert is the prettiest of all Karoo towns. Prince Albert is nestled at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, at the very edge of the Great Karoo.

Fully equipped with all you need for a comfortable getaway. We have specifically kept this house off the grid, no television or WiFi. At 85 on Church- 3 bedrooms house

Central to restaurants, shops, art galleries, " At 85 on Church" is a spacious, charming house set in a large garden with a swimming pool and an outdoor braai (bbq) The back garden and swimming pool are shared with the guests of the cottage. This fully equipped house, sleeps up to 7 with 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. You may rent it alone or together with the garden cottage.

Hartland Garden Suite

Privacy and space is important to some extinguished guests..... The doors open onto your own garden where you can relax under the trees or enjoy the hot Karoo sun on the pool lounger. In winter the fireplace heats up the entire suite right to your bath when you feel like floating in the water with the crackle of wood to complete a romantic breakaway.

Beautiful & comfortable heritage cottage in the historic town of Prince Albert. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!
