Fletcher Bay Garden Retreat

This private and completely separate 300 square foot space is located 100 feet behind the main residence. Enveloped by mature forest, you feel as though you are staying in a treehouse. The loft features hardwood floors, internet, queen sized bed, cozy sitting area and kitchenette. Marj's attention to detail and love of vintage finds is evident in the charming and welcoming space. Relax and listen to the water trickling in the pond outside your room. The loft comfortably accommodates singles, couples, children or a third adult. We accept up to two dogs but ask that they not be left unattended in the bnb unless they are crated. We also ask that you keep them off the bed and other furniture. Amenities: The loft comes equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, hot water kettle, and mini-fridge and is stocked with coffee, tea, yogurt and granola. There is a comfy queen-size bed and also a twin blow up Serta mattress with an internal pump that maintains pressure at your desired comfort setting. You can work or eat at an expandable table that has two comfy chairs. Internet tv is also provided. Luggage racks and an ironing board are stored in the closet. Fletcher Bay Garden Retreat is located in the center of Bainbridge Island, about 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. It is minutes from Pleasant Beach Village and the newly renovated Lynnwood Center including the Tree House Café and Historic Lynnwood Theatre. The Village includes fun shops, a wine bar and various restaurants including the lovely Beach House Restaurant. Near and dear to all Islanders hearts, is Walt’s Grocery where you can pick up necessities and sample Walt’s home beer brews and large selection of wines. If you care to venture further, you can visit the Grand Forest, acclaimed Bloedel Reserve, golf courses, quaint downtown Bainbridge Island and the new and highly acclaimed Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Nearby towns include Poulsbo and Port Townsend where more shopping, touring and eating are plentiful. And of course, Seattle is only a 35 minute ferry ride away! The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Set between Whidbey Island and Washington's mainland, beautiful Camano Island can be reached by car. With over 56 miles of beaches, boating, salmon fishing, clamming and crabbing are bountiful. The unique appeal of Camano Island is that it offers visitors a real-life island experience, including a strong arts scene. Recreational activities such as biking are popular here. The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

I am always available for questions.. I live in the main house in the front but you will have complete privacy. It's a very safe area and people are warm and friendly. Check out the farmers' market on Saturdays at Bainbridge Performing Arts. You have space to park one car in the carport.

Aerie House

Light and roomy 949 sq. foot home on seven acres at the end of a private lane eight miles from Port Townsend. Our home is a few feet away but we respect your privacy. Miles of trails out back, west facing view of Discovery Bay. The bath has a shower only, no tub. It seldom gets too hot here, but there is no air conditioning. There is no cleaning charge if the place is left reasonably clean. Please notice that we request no smoking or pets, and a maximum of two guests.

Full garden views, bright and modern secluded "guest house" 5 minutes off the highway and 10 minutes from the ferry in western Bremerton. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.
