Welcome! We are Paul and Paula and have lived in Waipara over 30 years, you will be nestled down the back of our home on 1/2 acre property. A newly refurbished 2 bedroom cottage, quiet, roomy living area, outdoor patio, you can sit and enjoy the sun, or under the tree for shade. Surrounded by wineries, for brunch, lunch or coffee and taste some wonderful wines. Wake to the sound of birdsong in & decide what to do for the day, be it chilling onsite, fishing, exploring walks around Mt Thomas or visiting the many vineyards only 20mins drive away. With Rangiora and Christchurch a mere 10-25 mins drive there is plenty to do and see before relaxing in a tranquil country setting. Well behaved pets are welcome. Coringa Farm Cottage is the home block of the original 7000 acre Coringa Station, Unique landscape surrounded by nature. Located 5 minutes from Motunau Seaside village, & 10 minutes from Greta Valley Pub & Cafe, Scargill Golf Club & Wedding Venue. This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

Olive Grove Cabin Waipara

Olive Grove Cabin is nestled in an olive grove in the Waipara valley, just 45 minutes north of Christchurch and 8 minutes north of Amberley. A peaceful and tranquil getaway from Christchurch or a stop along your travels around New Zealand. The cabin is located in the heart of the Waipara wine region, on the doorstep of the best of North Canterbury’s wineries, with easy access to Mt Grey, Mt Cass and Tiromoana walkways. The cabin is cosy and welcoming, the perfect retreat.

Shearers Quarters on farm, Motunau Beach Rd

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $100 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.

Cozy slightly rustic snug (compact) sleepout with Smàrt TV and WiFi. 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive to Rangiora shopping centre, making it easy to plan your visit. Small outside private area with porch. One room with queen bed and ensuite No kitchen. Has microwave small fridge, off street free parking, HEATPUMP warm on a cold day cool on hot days. 30 minutes drive to central Christchurch and airport. Matawai nature park 2 minute walk.

Set right on the Waipara wine trail, it’s just a short walk or ride to some of the region’s best wineries, including Greystone, Waipara Springs, Torlesse and Black Estate.

Whether you are pausing for breath before entering Christchurch from the north or making the Hurunui a destination in itself, La Poste gives you the accommodation options you need. Jump off here for the Inland Scenic Route and Waipara Valley and Hanmer Springs. And it is within walking distance to all Amberley township ammenities: cafes, restaurants, supermarket.
