Bring your own kayaks, SUPs, or rent them nearby. The airport is ten minutes away & the town of Comox is a quick five minute drive. Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.

Walk across the road to the beach. Lots of wildlife, birds, seals, sea lions, otters and if you get lucky you might see whales. 2 kayaks are available for exploring the shoreline. This carriage house has lots of character and is a simple, cozy space for a get away.
