In winter you will frequently get a natural light show from the amazingly starry bright sky and dancing auroras in the northern lights. Beautiful private country cottage

The house is spacious, with an open kitchen and beautiful countryside living room. It's located on private land with incredible views in all directions. The drive from Reykjavík is 1.5 hours and is very close to many popular tourist attractions such as Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Thorsmork, Westman Islands and 1 hour 30 minutes from Gullfoss and Geysir. We also have high speed wifi and laundry facilities on the premises. Lastly, there is a veranda surrounding 3 sides of the property.

Wooden cabin in the southern countryside of Iceland. Located on a farm close to Hvolsvöllur, next to the main house of the farmer, a little river and open land in every direction. Perfect for trips around the south.. Beautiful views and perfect for couples, families or a group of 3. Well equipped kitchen, good space to cook/eat. Studio and well used and very cozy to share. WC is in the cabin but shower is in the barn, 80m away from the cabin, shared with 1 other cabin.

They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

Ossabær 1 is a small cabin with room for 5 people in the middle of the Icelandic nature with views over the mountains around 10 minutes away from the nearest city and 10 minutes from seljandsfoss and the vestmannaeyjar ferry.
