Hekluhestar cottage at the farm

Take it easy in this tranquil accommodation in our farm, with a peaceful view ! The cottage can welcome up to 6 people, although 4 is the most comfortable. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm has animals roaming around, and also offers riding tours. Its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Your visit to Iceland will be a brease with this house as basecamp. This unike propety is clouse to evrything on the south coust . The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min, Laugarás lagoon is 20min and Friðheimar 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

This beautiful house is 48 m2 and has a fully equipped kitchen connected to a living room with a cozy sofa, chair and TV corner. Both in the living room and the bedroom the northeast side has windows from floor to ceiling with magnificent panorama view of Hekla, Eyjafjallajökull and the Westmann Islands.
