Warm and cozy aurora cabin on the south coast

Treat yourself to experience a stay at this wonderful magical cabin that you will absolutely fall in love with♡ Located in the southern region near the golden circle. In winter you will frequently get a natural light show from the amazingly starry bright sky and dancing auroras in the northern lights. Surround yourself with beautiful open fields and sit right at the riverbank of Eystri Rangá. Have a great time with the amenitieson we have; Zip-line, trampoline, hot tub and enjoy the BBQ on deck.

Calf cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead!

Countryside getaway! If you want to experience something unique during your trip to Iceland this little house has been repurposed as guest house. On our farm it has always been called the Calf cabin, as it was used as a small barn and a stable in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycled and repurposed as much material as possible and we are pleased with the outcome. Now it is a cozy little suite.

Spacious Hekluhestar guesthouse on the farm

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

The house is located in a beautiful and quiet place on Langholtsfjall with a fantastic mountain views. A cosy guesthouse, 25 m2, next to our cabin. The house has a small kitchen, double bed (queen size) and a bathroom with shower. There is a platform in front of the guesthouse with a heater and comfortable chairs . Guests will have access to hot tub and a outdoor barbeque.
