Newly renovated interior perfect for a quiet weekend getaway or couple’s retreat, college visit, festival home-base, or week-long vacation. We are 20 min from Terre Haute (Indiana State U.), 20 min from Raccoon Lake for swimming and boating and an hour from Indianapolis. We have ample parking for your boat and trailer! Close to all Covered Bridge Festival activities.

Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With its raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Beautifully landscaped on a secluded, wooded pond, this cabin includes a loft bedroom with KING bed, bath, full kitchen, gas fireplace, TV & Wifi, with your own private deck, outdoor hot tub, fire pit area & gas grill. Cabin sleeps 2 guests. Located near Lake Lemon, in a beautiful serene setting.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

It’s located near the public boat launch for Cagles Mill Lake to enjoy many water sport activities. (1.9 miles) The cabin is also close to Lieber State Rec Area and Cataract Falls.

Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

Pam and Mark Lynch will greet you to the country life at the Lynch Lodge. Located in the heart of Covered Bridge country. Pam, is a potter, graphic designer and artist and has a little pottery gallery on site should you care to visit. Mark is an engineer. If the quiet country sounds like what you are looking for, you will find it here. Located just 5 miles off I-70 south of Brazil. Easy access to all Covered Bridge Locations.

Captain Bill’s Lake House Heated Salt Water Pool

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated salt water pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is available on the property, inquire for details. Heated Salt Water Pool is seasonal beginning May 1, through September 30th.
