Newly built (30m2) an oasis at the onset of the Golden Circle, 12 km outside of Reykjavik. Convenient location as a hub while enjoying excursions as well as exploring Reykjavik and the surrounding area. Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The cottage is family-owned and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to Medalfellsvatn Lake with spectacular views over the lake. The cottage is located near Reykjavi­k, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

The house is a fantastic renovated 1930s town house in the Norðurmýri residential neighbourhood in the centre of Reykjavík. On the main floor there is a hall, dining room, kitchen, TV room with a sofa and the living room with a beautiful fireplace and access to the garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. The main bedroom has a door to the balconies. Main bedroom has a 180 cm bed, other big bed room has two 90 cm single beds and the small room has a 140 cm bed.
