The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Located in the city of Rhinelander, this river house will provide a peaceful place for you to stay during vacation or work travel. Recently remodeled the charming home contains modern conveniences and period antiques. We hope you enjoy its many details and the care we have taken to preserve its historic charm. Our cottage on Lake Minocqua is ideally located to enjoy the walkability and atmosphere of island life! Keep your boat at our pier during your stay and enjoy the chain of lakes, stroll around town, or simply sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience! We think you'll love this island gem!

Little Red is a cozy home that offers the quintessential up north experience with the comforts of home. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck overlooking peaceful Faust Lake. Drive 5 minutes into downtown Rhinelander for shopping and dining or venture out 20-30 minutes into neighboring Northwoods communities of Eagle River, Lake Tomahawk or Three Lakes. Cook dinner in the full kitchen and gather around the kitchen table for a meal or a lively game of cribbage.

The surface water area is over 1700 acres with 35 miles of shoreline for boating, skiing, swimming, jet skiing, and fishing!
