Cozy Cottage on Peacock Farm

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

The cottage at Acqua Dolce is an adorable studio located just behind our 1827 home in the historic district of Sweetwater. Our 3 acre property is wooded with many magnificent trees and a small creek making it a park-like setting while being in town. Great for visitors of all types with easy access to shopping, hiking, white water rafting, fishing and much more. We are near many destinations including, The Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, The Lost Sea and numerous wineries .

The house is just 2 miles away from the interstate, restaurant, movie theater & shopping. Off of the main road in a quiet older subdivision. Great stop over if traveling I-75. The Ocoee River & Cherokee National Forest are within 20 minutes driving. The bathroom is just outside the bedroom. The bed is queen size. Lee University is 5.7 miles away. Omega Center International is 4.8 miles away, both are easy to get to. Coffee/tea available anytime.

Whether you are coming here to fish, visit Wesleyan University, or enjoy beautiful East Tennessee, this home is conveniently located just off of highway 75. Boat parking available and easy self check-in to accommodate various arrival times. We also provide coffee, creamer, sugar/sweeteners, laundry soap/dryer sheets and even some snacks!

If you like to fish, this is the perfect spot for you, as you have direct access to the Hiwassee River. Not a fisherman? Grab a book & relax on the private dock or sun porch. LIMITED INTERNET ACCESS. This is a great place to relax & unplug. The internet in the area is very slow.
