Hang out on the deck or at the firepit enjoying mountain, river and valley views. Spend afternoons hiking countless trails nearby. But most of all, come do a little bit of nothing.

The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

Vacation or remote work-we now have Starlink. Spacious rancher with expansive wrap around porch. Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktail on the porch overlooking fenced in 3 acres (4' field fence) and adjacent hay field with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy the peacefulness and wildlife found here. Close to many hiking trails, Shenandoah River, shopping or just relaxing. We are dog friendly but we only allow a max of 3 dogs with prior approval. We do charge $50 pet flat fee.

Savor the scenery at this new, custom-built cabin nestled in the trees, with mountain views. Our one-bedroom cabin is lined with wood milled right here in the Shenandoah valley. Enjoy your river adventure whether it be tubing, canoeing, kayaking or rafting. Set out to hike Kennedy Peak Trailhead, and take in the scenic over-looks.
