The Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Smith Mountain Lake, James River, and Carvin Cove reservoir are also close. Feel close to nature while being close to conveniences of shopping and nice restaurants just down the mountain in Salem and Roanoke. One bed/bath with a pull out sofa in living room. Pet friendly! Cross Creek Luxury Couples Cabin is a one of a kind, romantic, get-away for two just 3 miles from the Blueridge Parkway. From its uniquely designed suspension over top of a creek, lighted boardwalk path through the woods that ramps up to the cabin amongst the trees giving it a true tree-house feel, 3 spacious decks for lounging and enjoying nature and the sounds of the roaring creek beneath you, to luxurious amenities galore inside and out. All in a secluded, private setting minutes from town!

Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

Cabin On The Creek

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. 15min to Town of Bedford and D-Day Memorial. 35min to Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Smith Mtn Lake. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign).

The ducks and chickens stroll around and deer visit too. Kick back and relax in this cozy, quiet and stylish space in the woods.

Tiny house farm stay, minutes to AppalachianTrail!

Unwind in a spacious tiny home on a working farm with vegetables, herbs, fruits, dairy goats, sheep, and chickens. Enjoy the views, farm fresh food, local hiking and swimming holes, or if it's cold, cozy up by the wood stove! We offer sliding scale farm-to-table dinners on weekends. We love sharing our farmstead with guests and also understand if guests prefer tranquil time to themselves. We are a 20 min drive to Dragon's Tooth, and 10 minutes to VA42 (Kelly Knob or the Keffer Oak).

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.
