Safe parking in yard and private outdoor area with table and chairs and a fine view on the Riviersonderend Mountains. The property neighbours on Die Krans Nature Reserve which can be reached directly for hiking/jogging. McGregor is a picturesque village and has a real country feel to it. Cosy Original Cottage (1917)

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located Cottage , glorious mountain hikes and cycle rides starting an easy stroll or bike ride to the other side of town. Pop in to our eclectic Artisan shops , local grocery shops are well stocked with fresh provisions, Saturday morning market is a gourmet treat. Greyton has fabulous restaurants . Cottage 47 is quaint comfortable with your own entrance, off street parking. Enjoy a coffee or wine on the verandah and relax.

Tierhoek Cottages Pepper Tree Cottage

One-bedroom romantic cottage with queen-size bed and king-size bath! Fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, gas-stove and a microwave. An elegant sitting-room with open fireplace and French doors onto shaded stoep with built in braai. A deep plunge-pool leads off the stoep, there is an outside braai under the pepper tree. There is also an outside shower. Pepper tree sleeps only 2 people. No TV, no cell reception but we do have Wifi. Really get away from it all and that makes it special.

Suites on 74 - Oak Tree

Studio 2 Oak Tree is part of a renovated shed. The shower / toilet en suite to the "main bedroom" with 2 x 3/4 beds, is on the mezzanine. On floor level there's a separate toilet and third and fourth bed along with cupboards, packing and working spaces. The double volume front of the studio is a lounge, with a dining table near the open plan kitchen counters. The entrance patio leads from the parking area, and includes a built in braai with outdoor seating.

The key phrase is 'slow living'. McGregor is only 2 hours from central Cape Town and the drive out is magnificent.
