Wake up refreshed under a deep-set skylight in the rustic wooden bed at this light-filled, homey residence with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and fabulous vintage pieces. (Please, be sure to read ALL of our house guidelines before booking. Your rate is based on the number of occupants, our homes are for use by registered, paid guests only) Our house is your house. The location is central to everything. Public transportation within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants,bars, yoga you name it, within your reach. This is perfect for a short stay or long/term. This house was completely renovated from top to bottom less than a year ago. It looks old, but everything is new and fresh. Top of the line appliances, including new washer and dryer for your use. PLEASE NOTE: WE CHARGE $35 EXTRA FOR USE OF SOFA BED IF YOU HAVE 4 GUESTS OR LESS. Our 4 guest included charge assumes to beds upstairs used. Our Airbnb rating relies on proper communication and accuracy with guest counts and reviews. If you have an issue during a stay that would result in anything less than a 5 star review, we expect you to message us regarding it. It it's not important enough for you to make us aware, we will be disappointed that you lay it out in a review. We have a lot of properties and a team that soley runs these and puts forth their best to make our houses your "homes"-please respect that and realize that little things like bringing in extra guests without notifying costs our housekeepers and extra hour of work to flip extra beds. We get that things happen, just please inform us. Each member of our team has families of their own and work 7 days a week as schedules dictate. Majority of our guests have been amazing, but we have had a few really rotten ones and it isn't fun to deal with. We aren't kidding when we say we would rather have a vacancy than crabby people :). Thank you to those of you who get it and treat our team respectfully and honestly. You will have the entire home and outdoor space. Please respect locked doors or cabinets and anything marked private. General rule, if you didn't buy it, please leave it be. The LL is unfinished, but has a full size washer and dryer for guest use -other than that, there is no reason for guests to be down there and we kindly ask that you refrain from exploring :) The only reason you can stay at our house is because we aren't here. However, our amazing friend is on-call 24/7 to guide and assist you as needed. We will be messaging you to check-in, please respond This home is located in an upscale Birmingham neighborhood a mile from downtown, which has the feel of a big city with shopping and fabulous dining. Walk to downtown and easily reach anywhere in the Detroit metropolitan area. A quick 25 min from Detroit Metro Airport. Easy to use public transportation or get an Uber or Lyft car. It is also a very walkable area. We strive for 5 star reviews and we want to give you one in return. Please, communicate! We have our amazing host on-call just for you-let us know what you need. This house is in the city and on a busy street. You will need to pull in and out of traffic (during rush hour) to access the driveway. We recently had a guest rate us less than 5 because they didn't feel we accurately informed them that there is traffic in the city and on a busy road, this is one out of our control and one thing we naively assumed everyone understood when driving in the city:( use caution when pulling into our driveway and please do NOT back out into traffic, but use the large drive area to turn around and safely exit the property.

Lake Life - Peaceful and Quiet

Spend time barbecuing on the deck while the sun sets or relax with a fire by the lake. This spacious home is on a secluded private lake with all of the up north vibes but the benefit of being near the city. Tranquil spot with a beautiful view of the lake. Nearby amenities include close access to I-75, Great Lakes Crossing, Top Golf, Pine Knob, skiing, golf and more! 1 hr. from Frankenmuth. The place also has a 2 kayaks, canoe and fishing gear. Our place is a cute home in an up and coming, very safe community. We actually live here full time, and AirBnB it while traveling. WiFi is available. Kitchen is at your disposal. There is a dedicated workspace in the study. Yes, a whole room just for that. And of course a big tv to relax at night, unless you chose to go out and explore local nightlife! Please note that due to certain restrictions we are exempt from hosting guests with dogs or cats even if they are service animals.
