One bedroom, plus a loft with full staircase, furnished with new queen beds. Wonderful grassy area behind the cabin for picnics, relaxing and badminton. Perfect location for peaceful getaway, within 15 minutes of Redwood parks, beaches and restaurants. Come relax in a little peace of heaven nestled in the forests and rivers of the Northern California Coast

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Tucked away in a very quiet safe location . Your room and courtyard is attached to the garage but private and separate from our home next to it. Only .3 of a mile to the boat ramp, Zolas, Fat Irish, Hwy 101 and Port of Brookings boardwalk. Queen bed, private toilet and shower. Room is 215sq ft, please note the coffee maker, fridge is in the bathroom area, please only book if you’re ok with this. Park right outside your room. Thx

If you're looking for a unique way to experience nature that still offers the comforts of home, come see what Yurt Life is all about! Tucked away in a manzanita grove and perched on a cliff with the river below, the space offers privacy, views, and close access to the river. This little yurt packs a big punch: kitchenette, comfy lounge chairs, queen bed, table, wifi and ceiling fan. And rather than being a dreaded experience, the attached bathroom with epic views is one of the best features!

Calendar open on 6/26/25 after being closed for long remodel.

Guest suite is 2 nd story w/private access. Magical ForestCore design. Primary Bedroom w/Queen bed, 1 bathroom W/shower & living room has a queen Pull down Murphy bed , 6 person dining & Kitchenette. Air mattress also available for more than 4 guest. Were on 3.5 acres on gravel road tucked in redwoods. Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Our cozy guest house behind our family's home features a charming modern farmhouse style, comfy bedding (sleeps up to 4), a well-stocked kitchenette, and level 1 charger for our EV guests. Located close to Brookings restaurants/shops, a short drive to stunning beaches, trails, the Chetco River, redwood groves, and a short walk to Azalea Park (featuring 2 playgrounds, lovely gardens/trails, disc golf course, ballfields/courts, free concerts in the summer and popular lights show in the winter.)

Welcome to Serenity Garden where you will find the Cottage situated amongst tranquil Redwoods. Enjoy this cozy 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom cottage. Just outside your door you will find a manicured 3-acre blissful escape from the hustle of life. Explore old growth redwood stumps, watch birds and pollinators work in the sun, and close your eyes to absorb the sound of the waterfall at the pond. Pick fresh berries or fruit when it is in season, and enjoy soaking up the peace.

Red Barn 5 mins to the River, Ocean & Redwoods!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located 3 miles from the pristine Smith River, Redwood National Park and the beach. Everything is there you might need during your stay. The barn is tastefully fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen in a country setting with outdoor seating, fire pit, hammocks and a gas grill for a relaxing getaway enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for your enjoyment.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

Fern Hook Cabins 200

Fern Hook Vacation Cabins are located nearby Jedidiah Smith State Park in the tiny hamlet of Hiouchi, California. Indulge yourself in a private setting of magnificent redwoods carpeted with ferns. Our newly constructed cabins with full kitchens will provide deluxe accommodations while you enjoy this natural wonderland. We are pet friendly, but require a 30$ per pet fee, for each reservation.
