Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Read a book, watch for wildlife on the deck, or sit around the fire pit. The Franklin area is known for its amazing bike paths, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Cottage with Private Allegheny River Access

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

Kingfisher's Perch

4-season cottage with amazing views of the Allegheny River with great wildlife and bird watching (bald eagles). There's a hot tub to relax in after biking (Rails to Trails bike trail), kayaking (2 available), hiking, fishing, playing (playground in the yard), shooting (.22 range in the back yard), or swimming (in the river or local waterfall) all day. Great for families or friend getaways. A home away from home, everything you need, and more for an escape to the woods.

Quaint Country Suite

This modest studio apartment is great for a peaceful getaway, a last-minute stop-over, or even an extended stay for traveling professionals. The area features nearby Sandy Creek bike trail, State Game Lands, and the small town of Cranberry, PA just 5 miles down the road. Associated with the St. Thomas More House of Prayer, a Catholic Retreat Center in the midst of rural Northwest PA, you'll also find the grounds ideal for a nice walk or quiet reflection.

The prefect place to connect with nature and leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. With modern amenities and an amazing atmosphere, you won't want to leave. A 170 year old farmhouse located on 100 acres of farm and woodlands. It is a peaceful location perfect for the family vacation, small group retreat, quilting retreat or a place of rest and relaxation. Great location for hiking, near the Oil Region Allegheny Bike trail, Allegheny River and East Sandy Creek. The surrounding woodland is great for hunting deer and turkey.
