You will love staying in this quaint and beautiful well established neighborhood. It is 2 miles to the airport and 3 miles to downtown Anchorage. One block away for a glass of wine or a coffee at The Rustic Goat (http://rusticgoat.com). The Coastal Trail is only a few blocks away along the coast with views of Denali. This adorable 1950s Cape Cod Style home is unique to Anchorage with a huge fenced backyard. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families.

Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed and the other with a bunk bed. A full bathroom between these two rooms. The main floor has a living room, dinning area, kitchen, full bath, and a bedroom with a queen sized bed. The backyard is gigantic with a large deck, mature spruce trees, perennial flower gardens, and a full sized gas BBQ. I have a game of croquet and bocce ball next to the shed in the backyard for an evening of fun in the midnight sun. If it gets chilly there is a fire pit too!

"Turnagain by the Sea" is one of the most established and desirable Anchorage neighborhoods. Neighbors take pride in their homes with lush green lawns and gardens. Lynn Ary Park is a 5 minute walk away with play equipment for children of all ages. Two newly paved tennis courts (bring your racket or I can leave out a couple kid sized ones if you'd like). The views from Lynn Ary park include the Cook Inlet, downtown, and the Alaska Range. On a clear day you can see Denali (highest peak in North America). Walk a few blocks to the grocery store, an amazing used book store (http://www.wavebooks.com/), REI, MiddleWay Cafe (http://www.middlewaycafe.com/), Hearth Artisan Pizza, and many other eclectic shops in the Spenard neighborhood.

I am a mom of two incredible boys, ages 13 and 10. I teach in a gifted education program for the Anchorage School District. I moved to Anchorage in 1998 and fell in love with the wilderness surrounding the city. I enjoy hiking, trail-running, skiing, biking, kayaking and camping.
