July 21, 2015 I took my first Airbnb guest. As of Winter 2021 I've had 4,084 total guests (couples counting as 2 guests), through Airbnb and other means. My home in Denver, Colorado is closer to the airport than downtown. It is on the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. It has awesome views of the course, Front Range mountains, and downtown Denver. Due to Denver's short-term rental laws I only have 1 active listing in this house. Southeast Michigan is still the epicenter of automation, and this home is literally 5 minutes away from an industrial park where many global technology companies do R&D. The property is one of the most peaceful and private locations left in the area. Only 1 mile to M-14 and Beck Rd, 4 minutes to downtown Plymouth, 20 minutes to Ann Arbor, 23 minutes to DTW airport, 30 minutes to downtown Detroit. My Hawaii home is on the Big Island, about 10 minutes to the Kohala Coast resorts and beaches on one side of the island and 30 minutes to Waipio Valley on the other side of the island. Waimea is where the Keck Observatory headquarters is based, with easy access to the top of Mauna Kea where the telescopes are. Waimea is also where Hawaii Preparatory Academy and Parker School are located, two world-class private schools. My goal is always to create quiet, comfortable spaces, where guests from all over the world can become part of an extended "family", even if just temporarily. Temporarily being relative, as a few guests have lived in my homes for over 3 years. As guests, my homes are your homes, and I appreciate the opportunity to be your host. Take care! Scott
