My home is a Victorian cottage in a quiet pleasant street half a mile from central Brixton, it's homely & relaxed, but also clean & comfortable. I love having guests and make sure they feel at home.

This is a light, calm room with double bed, table & chair, small wardrobe & a chest of drawers, & enough floor space for yoga.
房客使用權限
The bedrooms, shared bathroom & utility area are upstairs (one floor).
The utility area next to the room has a washing machine & everything you need for hot drinks & simple meals - kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, utensils & condiments. You're welcome to use the washing machine 9am-9pm.
The living room is downstairs. We've rearranged it so that we can sit/socialise in there but still keep adequate social distance. Before covid we'd often play board games or have a film night or house meal, may those days return soon!
There is also a patio area in the front garden where guests can enjoy the afternoon sun.

Please check before booking if you wish to work from home, bring an animal, or you have allergies.
Also:
a) there is sometimes noise in daytime (singing, renovations, friends coming over) & there are occasional viewings, but we are always considerate of guests
b) no locks on our bedroom doors

Brixton is brilliant - loads of little lively places to eat and drink, and so quick and easy to get into central London - just an 8 min tube ride to Victoria!
The house is in a very peaceful and friendly neighbourhood. There's a Sainsbury's, shops & cafes just round the corner, and it's only a ten-minute walk to the shops, restaurants and buzz of central Brixton (or to beautiful Brockwell Park), and yet it's usually amazingly quiet at night.

I'm a Londoner - I love my city. I also love to escape from it! I've always loved to travel and hear people's stories, and I've recently started hosting, which is a real pleasure. So airbnb is brilliant for me - I can stay in all kinds of homes around the world, and host all kinds of interesting people in return. As a host: I'm a relaxed, sociable host, & I also understand when to give people privacy. If you visit me I want you to feel welcome in London and have a happy, memorable stay here. As a guest: Sometimes I travel alone, sometimes with my lovely partner, Tony. He's a gentle giant, very considerate and quite shy, always looking for ways to be helpful. We are both used to sharing our homes with guests and lodgers and so are extremely considerate guests when staying in other people's homes.

We used to love to have fun with our guests - dinners, film nights, board games - but at present our priority is your safety. It is a big house with space for social distancing and we do not usually wear masks in the house, but are willing to do so in shared areas if you let us know you'd prefer it.
