This large vaulted ceiling home is the entire first floor of a lovely Lower Garden District historic building. Enjoy the feel of New Orleans without hassle of the French Quarter / Downtown, or the remote feeling of Uptown. We are have easy access to: Coliseum Square Park (across the street), St Charles Streetcar/Mardi Gras Route ( 2 blocks), Magazine Street shopping/restaurants (one block) and a short walk to the Morial Convention Center, Arena/Superdome and the French Quarter (0.8 mi).

This building was constructed in the 1870s but has been updated with modern conveniences and luxury items. The inside is quiet and insulated well by the solid brick building. There is central heat and air conditioning. Each bedroom contains a queen bed and all required pillows and linens. There pull out sofa bed (3rd) if you need additional sleeping arrangements. This two bedroom, one bathroom home is great for both business trips, sporting events, concerts, conventions and vacation. Inside you will find an open floor-plan dining, living, kitchen area. The dining area seats four with an additional two people at the bistro table. The living area has a large couch and a 64" Samsung Plasma TV. The kitchen has granite counter tops, gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, bar area, refrigerator/ice-maker and dishwasher. Wi-Fi is free. The luxury washroom is spacious with a Jacuzzi bath, ceiling tub fill and dual shower heads. A modern front loading washer/dryer set is stacked in the closet.

No indoor smoking please. A $500 smoking fee will be assessed. Parking is on street and is rarely an issue. Garbage and recycling access are conveniently located. A park is immediately across the street for relaxing outdoors! Please Note - There are a few steps required to enter the apartment. The showers are in the Jacuzzi bath - stepping over the edge of the bath is required. People live upstairs full time. Please - no yelling or parties.

After I began my career as a helicopter pilot, I found that I have a fundamental enjoyment of travel, adventure and experiencing new things.
