Our Mum’s House is a comfortable, large, warm apartment in the heart of Bologna, just in front of the high speed railway station, But, if you are driving, we can accommodate your car too and… free of charge!!.

The flat has three rooms and is set on the first floor of a typical building of the '30s. It is quiet and comfortable even if it is in front of the railway station, Carracci exit. The entrance is also a living room; sitting in the comfortable sofa and armchairs you can either read or watch the 38" Sat TV or surf the net using the WI-FI internet connection of the flat.
The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, cooking utensils, water boiler, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher fridge, and a four ring electric cooker. In the larger spleeping room you can find a wide double bed, a big wardrobe, an armchair and a "pettinoir", while in the smaller one there is a a three-quarter bed French bed (length 200 cm, width 120 cm), a wardrobe and an armachair.
In the large and comfortable bathroom you have both a bath tub and a showerbox, a big mirror and an hair dryer.
A City Tax of about 2€ per person per day (up to 5 days) must be paid at the end of your stay.

The main feature of the flat is its position, which allows to easily move both inside Bologna and to other areas in Italy, whatever means of transport you choose.
Immediately out of the airport, you can get the BLQ bus. Get out at central station, enter it, take the underpass towards the Carracci exit. Residenza Arcobaleno is opposite the station way out.
If you arrive by car, get out at either exit 5 (Lame) or 6 (Castel Maggiore) or 7 (Fiera) of the orbital road. A parking is provided with the flat.
Busses to any direction nearby.
Taking a train is as easy as taking a bus and you can enjoy day trips to the main art cities: Florence (30 m.), Venice (90 minutes), Milan (1 hour), Rome (2 hours), and then Mantova, Verona, Rimini, Ravenna…
Busses from Piazza Medaglie d’Oro: bus 35-38 to the Exhibition Center (15 m.). bus BLQ to the airport (35 m.), bus 32 to Sant’Orsola Hospital (10 m.), any bus to Piazza Maggiore (12-15 m.)
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the University ancient seats and to the old town area.
Bikes are a good means of transport to use in the city. Bologna is developing a very good network of cycling lanes and one of them is just outside the flat. Bicycles can be hired at Dynamo, the bike station which also offers a repair and maintenance shop, a relax area with free wi-fi and lots of events.
