The 5 person, 2-bedroom Eco Hot-tub Cottage is designed for your relaxing getaway. After a day of exploring the bay, relax with nature in the outdoor hot-tub or cook up a treat in the full functioning kitchen or your private use of the Weber Family Q BBQ.

Our Eco Cottage with Hot Tub is a unique cottage and is the ideal spot if you wish to dream away the day in your own 4 – 5 person hot tub. Our bedding arrangement equally suits couples and families with 1 x double bed in the main bedroom and a “tri bunk” (double below with a single above). It has everything you need for your stay including a fully equipped kitchen, all linen, basics and a few extras including your own private BBQ.
Wildlife is in abundance with occasional sightings of koalas, possums, many different birds and sometimes a friendly kangaroo visits.
It is a 5minute walk to the beautiful One Mile Beach where there is an licensed Bar and a small Takeaway. The property has free Wi-Fi.
This cottage is one of 12 cottages we have on our eco-sensitive property with features to reduce our footprint on the earth, e.g. low energy lighting, composting toilets, natural bushland with low-key night lighting. We also have conveniences of a pool, laundry and outdoor dining area.

Wanderers accommodation is self contained. We do not provide on-call daily servicing. At check-in your cottage will have the basic consumables toiletries and clean towels to last a 2 night stay. Any additional consumables needed are the responsibility of the guest.
COVID Safety Plan.
1. All guests must check-in using the Services NSW QR Code application. Proof of ID is required.
2. Hot-tubs are closed for use on the morning of check-out from 8.00am. This is to provide time for draining, cleaning, refilling and heating in readiness for the next check-in. We apologise for the inconvenience.
3. The laundry has restricted access to guests, please enquire on arrival.
4. Wanderers is a Guests Only Resort for registered paying guests. No visitors allowed.
5. Wanderers is not a Party House.

We are the new owners of Wanderers Retreat after taking over in November. We visited the area a few years ago and fell in love with the beauty of Port Stephens. The natural beauty of the area is unique and we would love to share this beautiful area with you.
