Our guests can enjoy authentic Japanese atmosphere with modern facilities which make your stay comfortable. The location of the house is very convenient, close to all main attractions including Takayama station.

■Traditional Japanese town house
This is really authentic traditional Takayama style house which was just renovated into accommodation in Apr. 2019. Although it keeps its traditional touch, the house has been renovated with modern facilities, making your stay comfortable.
■Appropriate facilities for a large group
Unlike other properties in Takayama, SOUWAAN is equipped with 2 toilets & 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom & 1 shower room). A group of 4-6 people can have a comfortable stay thanks to the facilities, making best use of your time in Takayama.
■Excellent location
It is close to Takayama station and all main attractions such as morning market, old town, restaurants & bars, etc.
■Exclusive Use For One Group.
Guests can use our house exclusively. You can enjoy cooking, relaxing, etc as you wish. We believe that it is a great choice for couples, family, and friends.
■Japanese garden inside the house
From living room, guests can enjoy a view of the traditional Japanese garden created by a local gardener
