Spacious yet cosy, this charming 3/4 bedroom cottage in the heart of Albert Town is perfect for families or two couples. Double glazing, a wood burner and heat pump will keep you warm. 5 mins drive to Wanaka yet peaceful and quiet. Walking distance to the Albert Town shops, cafes, Clutha River and the many walking and mountain biking tracks.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other with 2 king singles. There is also a bathroom with toilet. Downstairs there is a queen bedroom and separate living room with a sofa bed. Separate toilet and a large bathroom. Open plan living/dining with fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso (bring your own pods). There is also a separate laundry/kitchenette. Great for 2 groups wanting a bit of extra privacy and space.
Open plan living opens up to a large deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ.
You can relax in the private and quiet garden knowing your children will be safe. Fully fenced with mature and established trees and shrubs. Enjoy the peace and privacy yet only a 5 minute drive to downtown Wanaka.

If you just want accommodation for 2 people - the self contained ground floor studio is available for booking on our other airbnb listing - Black Frye Cottage Suite.
Breakfast is not included but there are cafes close by.
It’s a five minute walk to the Albert Town shops where there is a small supermarket, Pembroke Patisserie, Prince Albert pub, fish and chip takeaway and fish restaurant. In the other direction the Double Black Cafe is a ten minute walk.
Guests have access to the Riverside community pool and gym facilities which are only a 5 minute walk away.
There are numerous walking and mountain biking tracks only a few minutes away. In the summer there is great boating, fishing and swimming. In the winter Cardrona and Treble Cone ski fields are a 40 min drive away.

We are a family of 4, with 2 children now in their 20’s. We love Wanaka and spend as much time there as we can. Walking, jet-boating, mountain-biking. skiing and enjoying the many wonderful cafes and restaurants in the area. It is a beautiful place with so much to do. We love sharing our home with our guests and hope they get to love this place us much as we do.
