We are proud to present the Geodome experience, nestled up against the Witzenburg mountain range about 10km from the historic town of Tulbagh. Keeping up with the increasing demand for experiential stays in stead of the traditional B&B, we have created this unique rental situated in our favourite part of a 270 hectare farm. Swimming, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and enjoying nature are some of the favourite activities our guests enjoy. And yes, the outdoor bathtub in the picture is real ;)

The dome is surrounded by water and trees completely private, submerged in nature with not a building in sight.
The space is self catering, with electricity, a fridge, gas stove along with utensils and cooking pots/pans.
Hot shower and bathtub, both overlooking the dam, long claimed (by us), to have the best sunsets in the valley!
Fresh mountain water to drink and swim in and please help yourselves to the fruit and herbs growing in the garden surrounding the dome.
As much as we have built this experience to be as comfortable as possible, there is still an element of being 'outdoors' so expect a bee to fly by while you are poaching an egg or a shongololo to inspect your toothbrush in the bathroom. The dome itself is sealed from wind, rain and anything bigger than an ant, but it can get hot in the late afternoon like any tent does during a hot summers day. There is a fan and more than enough shade under the trees to escape the sun, not to mention a big dam to cool off in!

A few people have asked so to avoid answering individually please note; We don't allow any pets, we allow dogs on the farm in our other cottages, but unfortunately the dome is just not suited for dogs for various reasons.
