Beautiful all year, the farmhouse offers amazing scenery, hiking, skiing, swimming, fishing fun to make the Farmhouse in the Mountains a special getaway!

With an artisan fireplace and wide planked wood floors made from days gone by, this original farmstead equipped with modern amenities hosts 6 - 8 with ease and on occasion, supported more. Having ample yard space and a flat drive, these mountain acres sport the original carriage barn and out buildings with the pond ebbing and flowing with the seasons. Wild life is often easy to see, the foliage changes beautifully throughout the year and many fun activities and hiking trails thrive nearby making this the time a perfect weekend getaway. Surrounded by natural rock-outcroppings and the mountain behind, it is located in New York's desirable Catskills Forest Preserve only 3 miles from the gorgeous Shokan Reservoir. This 1712 sq ft. peaceful home is invitingly precious and fully furnished with full size kitchen and all the comforts. Welcoming living room with original stone fireplace is a gathering place in winter. Summer BBQ's are great on the side deck overlooking the yard. Upstairs is the private master bedroom with a separate full bedroom downstairs and additional sleeping space in the back den with its own wood stove and reading space. The dining area seats 6 with ample space throughout the house. Convenient to Woodstock, Phoenicia, New Paltz, Stone Ridge, Saugerties, Kingston. Ski at both Hunter & Bellayre; X-country skiing at NewPaltz, Minnewaska State Park - Hiking, biking, running, rock-climbing, fishing (Esopus Creek 10 minutes away), swimming, tubing, and boating in the summer! Antiques, shopping, great restaurants, picturesque views & waterfalls, all within short drives.
SLEEPING:
1 Queen bed upstairs sleeps 2
1 Full bed downstairs bedroom sleeps 2,
The back study room which is a shared space also sleeps 1 having a day bed that's a proper twin mattress and box spring bed.
1 Trundle in sleeping loft in the study room sleeps 1; Uses a free standing ladder for access
The living room sofa is also comfortable for sleeping 1 - 2 people.
Full Kitchen; Full Laundry; 2 Full Baths. 2 living spaces (of which the back study is one) plus front foyer.
BOOKING:
Please include your email and phone number. Once those are visible on the website, I email a one page check-in agreement for signing and returning back to me which completely confirms your booking and access for your stay and a great time away~

CLEANING:
The Farmhouse is cleaned by a cleaning professional observant of the best practices during these times bringing her own supplies, plus she wears protective gear while cleaning, sanitizing and resetting the house. All has been well!

A cozy get away also so close to all the modern amenities make this the perfect get-away home! I am in the Catskills Park Reserve so everyone is responsible for their own trash removal..easy enough to do... But fees applied for failure to do so. Let's Keep things beautiful~

Hailing from Georgia with some time in DC and then in NYC since~ Love the great outdoors and the Catskills are a wonderful retreat with many fun activities, places and towns to explore!

The rental is for the house. I have a property manager that helps with any questions during your stay; lives in the neighborhood and is there for that purpose.
