We are north of Taos in quiet Arroyo Hondo Valley, green pastures with horses and cattle. We are on the Rio Hondo river that leads down into the canyon and meets up with the Rio Grande where you can fish, paddle board, swim or soak in the Black rock hot springs. It is a 15 minute drive to town, 20 minutes to Taos Ski Valley.. North is the NM fish hatchery and the Ski town Red River. We offer all guest a $20 gift certificate to our restaurant Orland's NM Cafe.

Hello. We are Orlando and Yvette Ortega. We own Orlando's New Mexican Cafe in Taos Nm and have for 23 years and counting. We love to ski and snowboard however the cold has caught up to us so we have been spending most of our winters in Sayulita Mexico surfing and hanging on the beach(thanks to our wonderful staff). Yvette is a true Taosena born and raised. I was born here but traveled with my Park Service Parents and lived mostly on San Juan Island in WA. In the summer we love to road trip as much as possible. We have one son and one daughter which are both grown up have moved on.
