Located in the rolling hills of the “Vallee de la Ceze”, this is the ideal location to discover and explore this beautiful area. Renovated in 2012, “Fortunie” caters for all modern expectations and is decorated in a typical Southern French style. The colours and motifs used are universally recognised and associated with the French way of life. The Pool is 10x4 meters and has a large sun-bathing area which includes a Marquis, sunloungers and hammocks.

“Fortunie” is named after the winding backroad, “Le Fortunie et Clos Neuf” which snakes its way through the Vineyards to “Cornillon”. Located in the rolling hills of the “Vallee de la Ceze”, this is the ideal location to discover and explore this beautiful area.
Renovated in 2012, “Fortunie” caters for all modern expectations and is decorated in a typical Southern French style. The colours and motifs used are universally recognised and associated with the French way of life and offer a homely and comfortable setting for your holiday.
The large garden is landscaped and offers various local Plants and Flowers. The aromatic Lavender bristles with colour and is a constant reminder of where you are. With rosemary, thyme & tarragon in abundance, the hobby chef has plenty of opportunities to experiment and gets his creative juices flowing.
With 2 bedrooms – 1 french double bed & 1 double sofabed there is enough room for families or groups of friends. The large kitchen has modern appliances and also boasts a dining table. Outside there are private and communal patios where you can enjoy those long relaxing lunches & dinners.
The 10×4 meter Swimming Pool is a great way to cool off during the long hot summer days. Surrounded by natural stone tiling with loungers and hammocks, everyone can find the perfect spot for themselves. The Marquis and numerous Umbrellas offer handy shady locations for those who need to get out of the sun.
Surrounded by Vineyards and trails there are numerous walks and hiking opportunities. With very little traffic and sparsely populated its a great way to explore the area and experience nature. The walk to “Cornillon” is a must-do and is the perfect location for a picnic or aperitif, while taking in the stunning views of the “Vallee de la Ceze” below.

I currently split my time between Cornillon, France and Köln, Germany. I grew up in Ireland and have a multi-cultural background. I am multi-lingual and have worked in the hospitality trade as a chef. I am currently looking after some of my families properties in France.
